Reordering announcements

Note: To complete these procedures, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. To determine your role, follow the directions in Participant roles. For a basic understanding of roles and permissions, see Permissions and roles: Overview.

Note: The functionality described here may not be available by default in all installations; contact your site administrator for more information.

The Announcements tool will automatically order your announcements by the date modified, so that the most recently added or edited announcements will appear at the top of the list. With the Reorder feature, you can organize your announcements into an order of your choosing.

  1. In the site in which you want to reorder announcements, in the menubar, click Announcements.

  2. Click Reorder.

  3. Drag and drop announcements into your desired order.

    If the view is set to "Show 20 items..." or more, you may also enter the desired order number next to the announcements you wish to reorder.

  4. Click Update to save your changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
